Project Spotlight: Portraits of the Artist's Husband

I noticed today that the folder of drawings that I've done of my husband (since he started working from home due to the pandemic) had ballooned to over 80 works! You can see them here. While I don't miss being around people at all, I do miss drawing the figure, and I appreciate that my husband tolerates me to continue that kind of observation-based drawing with him and the cats. I don't ever ask him to stay still, and when he's working I creep in and out without bothering or distracting him, and also I bring him snacks, so hopefully we are even.
